What is a time capsule?
Time capsules are a historic collection of goods or information, typically intended to share with future recipients (i.e. family, archaeologists, historians, etc.).
why create a time capsule?
Recently I’ve heard the line ‘This has never happened before [in history]’ repeated, and it made me think of the future relevance of this time period. It’s so important to remember this later- how we lived our lives, challenges, important lessons learned, and how it influenced our future self.
DIY time capsule
There’s a couple of different ways you can approach making your own time capsule.
You can source a weatherproof container large enough to store important items, photos, and artwork made during this time and store it someplace safe.

You can either print this worksheet out and use it on its own, or fill it out, digitally scan it as a JPG, and then include the final images as additional pages to your own custom family album!
