Prepping for Picture Day

We always aim to make your busy parents’ lives easier, so we’ve compiled some tips to help you prepare for School Picture Day.

Fresh Start

Make sure your kiddo(s) have time to eat breakfast before preschool drop off, and double check for milk/breakfast residue stains on their faces. If at all possible, please try your best to bring them to school with those 'eye crusties’ and boogers removed too. It really helps your school staff and keeps the Picture Day experience and ambiance tear free, upbeat and happy!

Child Wardrobe

We want to be able to see your child’s unique personality, so it’s a fun idea to pick clothes that reflect their style!

Here’s what works best:

  • SIMPLE PATTERNS & SOLID COLORS

  • NO BRAND LOGOS

  • LAYER LOVE

    • We love: sweaters/blazers layered over a button shirt, suspenders over plain t-shirts, and button shirts left open over a simple t-shirt.

  • ALL THE DETAILS

    • Bows, barrettes, bowties, oh my! Extra accessories can help elevate a portrait as that added touch.

  • SIBLING COORDINATION

    • Make sure your sibling children look well coordinated, but they don’t necessarily need to MATCH.

    • i.e. Dominate color vs. accent color, patterns vs. solids, for sisters- a dress option vs. leggings

    • Variation always works incredibly well!

No time to shop for new threads?

  • Classic never goes out of style. You can always opt for denim and a solid colored tee!
